Stakeholder Consultation Webinar: Accelerating Passive Cooling Strategies for Climate-Resilient Buildings in ASEAN

In an effort to address the challenges of rising cooling demand, heat stress, and associated emissions across a rapidly urbanising ASEAN, ACE, supported by UNEP under UN Women’s EmPower II Programme, is developing a regional roadmap titled “Roadmap for Passive Cooling in the ASEAN Region: An Inclusive Heat Resilience Approach.”

This webinar aims to validate the research findings conducted for the development of the roadmap and to gather input from diverse stakeholders who implement passive cooling strategies in ASEAN. The discussion will help ensure that the roadmap supports an inclusive adoption of passive cooling, addressing the needs of vulnerable communities, and strengthens the region’s mitigation and adaptation objectives through more resilient approaches within the built environment.
