MANILA, Philippines — The renewable energy arm of Citicore Power Inc. is set to begin construction for a solar plant in Central Luzon in November under a joint venture with AC Energy Philippines Inc. In a statement, Citicore said its wholly owned subsidiary Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) will develop the 75 megawatts(MW) facility located between the towns of Arayat and Mexico towns in Pampanga. The P3.3 billion project is a joint venture with AC Energy Philippines, with a 50 percent economic ownership.
